 Released in 1964 on Decca Records, The Rolling Stones LP No. 2 

 is one of the band’s defining early albums. Blending rhythm and blues covers with original material, it captures the raw energy that shaped the Stones’ early sound.

This UK album (released January 1965) is the Rolling Stones’ second studio LP 

and features the band’s early blend of rock-and-roll covers and a 

few originals by Jagger/Richards — a hallmark of their early blues-rooted sound.
