Born John Wesley Holder in Georgetown, British Guyana, 

Ram John Holder moved to London in 1962 and built a 

dual career as a musician and actor. His musical catalogue 

includes Black London Blues (1969), 

Bootleg Blues (1971) and You Simply Are… (1975).
