guitarist known for his slide guitar playing. Considered a "musician's musician"
he performed with blues artists such as Sonny Boy Williamson II, Junior Wells
and John Lee Hooker and fronted his own bands
Sweet Black Angel is an album by blues musician Earl Hooker released
on the Blue Thumb label in 1969. The album was co-produced by musician
Ike Turner and Blue Thumb founder Bob Krasnow.
