 quite like James Brown Presents His Band – Night Train, released on 
King Records 771. Long before James Brown became known worldwide as 
the "Godfather of Soul," this energetic recording showcased the incredible 
musicianship of his touring band and helped establish his reputation as one 
of America's most exciting live performers.
Originally released in the early 1960s, Night Train became one of James Brown's 
signature recordings. Built around a driving saxophone melody, infectious groove, 
and Brown's unmistakable stage energy, the record became a staple of 
concerts and dance halls across the United States.
