Minit Records, this record showcases the group’s explosive stage 

presence and their ability to transform soul, R&B, and pop material

into a relentless live experience.

Often overlooked in the duo’s discography, In Person stands as an

 important document of their live performance style before their 

major mainstream breakthrough in the early 1970s.

Recorded live during the late 1960s, In Person reflects the sound that 

made Ike & Tina Turner famous on the club and theater circuit. Unlike
