notes:

Released in 1965 on Cadet Records, Hang On Ramsey!
captures the Ramsey Lewis Trio at the height of its
popularity. Following the international success of
The "In" Crowd, the trio continued blending sophisticated
jazz with infectious soul grooves, gospel influences,
 and accessible pop melodies.
Featuring Ramsey Lewis' expressive piano, Eldee Young's
melodic bass, and Red Holt's dynamic drumming, the album
offers energetic interpretations of contemporary hits
alongside tasteful originals. It remains one of the finest
examples of mid-1960s soul jazz and an
essential collectible for jazz and vinyl enthusiasts.
