Red Holloway’s The Burner is a classic soul-jazz LP recorded 
in 1963 and released on the legendary Prestige Records
 label (PR 7299). This vibrant session captures Holloway at
 the height of his energetic, blues-infused playing  a must-own
 for jazz, soul-jazz, and vinyl collectors alike.
Over his long career, he performed with legends like Billie Holiday
 and Muddy Waters and made major contributions to the 
soul-jazz sound of the 1960s.
