A Taste Of Soul Bossa is the debut album by Japan’s Soul Bossa Trio,
 originally released in 1994. The group was formed in Tokyo in 1993 
by Gonzalez Suzuki, with Toshiyuki/Toshi Matsumoto and 
Koichi Matsumoto associated with the trio’s early formation. 
AllMusic describes their music as a sophisticated meeting 
point of acid jazz, bossa nova, Brazilian jazz, Latin jazz, fusion and soul jazz.

Musically, the album is built around an organic trio sound, 
combining piano, electric piano and organ with bass and drums.
 Later catalog information identifies Toshi Matsumoto on piano,
 electric piano and organ, Shingo Takemiya on acoustic/electric bass,
 and Gonzalez Suzuki on drums; Gonzalez Suzuki is also credited 
as producer on related releases.

The Manhattan Towers Hotel Ballroom; the first was Smith's previous album, 
House Party (1958). Rudy Van Gelder used the ballroom as a 
recording studio for recording sessions in 1957–1958

Broadway & 52nd is the second studio album by jazz-rap 
group Us3 and has a more dark, conscious mood to it than their first album.
On the album, the group continued mixing live musicians with samples 
and hip hop lyrics. While the album was not as well received as the debut 
album Hand on the Torch, it represented a more mature approach to jazz rap. 
After the huge success of their first album, the president of Blue Note records 
allowed the trio to dig deep into Blue Note's vault and do 
whatever they wanted to do with its material.

Hand on the Torch is the debut studio album by British jazz rap
group Us3. It received widespread attention due to its mixture
of jazz with hip-hop music, with material from popular jazz musicians
of the 20th century being reimagined. The samples used on the
 album are from old Blue Note Records classics: the most famous
was Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe Island", which Us3 used on
 the track "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)".
