notes:

Sweet Soul Swinger was originally an LP by Lil Bob and The Lollipops,
a Louisiana-based soul/R&B band led by Camille “Lil Bob” Bob in the
late 1960s under the Jin label. Lil Bob & The Lollipops were known
for their horn-driven soul sound and heavy live gig schedule
in south Louisiana clubs during that era.
about the band:
Lil Bob (Camille Bob) was a singer and drummer from Arnaudville,
Louisiana, who fronted The Lollipops starting in the 1950s. The group
recorded for local labels including Goldband, La Louisianne, and then Jin.
Their most famous singles include “I Got Loaded,” though that
track isn’t on this Sweet Soul Swinger reissue.
