The Joe Cuba Sextet's Wanted Dead Or Alive 
(Bang! Bang! Push, Push, Push) is one of the defining 
recordings of the Latin boogaloo movement. Released 
on Tico Records, the album captures the infectious
fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms, soul, jazz, and R&B that
dominated New York City's dance clubs during the late 1960s.

Following the international success of Bang Bang, Joe Cuba
 continued to bridge Latin music and American soul with 
irresistible dance grooves, lively percussion, and unforgettable 
vocal chants. This LP perfectly reflects the vibrant sound 
of Spanish Harlem during the golden age of Latin soul.
Driven by energetic timbales, congas, vibraphone, piano, 
and catchy choruses, the album remains an essential 
recording for collectors of Latin jazz, salsa, and rare groove vinyl.
